Each meeting we will study together from the Weaver’s Idea Book.
For the April meeting, we are going to continue study Chapter 3 in the Weaver’s Idea Book: Pick up on the Rigid Heddle Loom – Warp Floats.
There are several options within the technique, so we are going to explore one at a time.
To begin exploring pick up patterns, we will start with the weft floats. Between pages 88 – 95 are several patterns. You will notice that many patterns can be woven on a single warp.
The resource book that we are using is The Weaver’s Idea Book ~ Creative Cloth on a Rigid Heddle Loom by Jane Patrick.
Either come to the group ready to weave, or share your experiences in the group as you learn on your own.
You must have your own loom for the study group. Please come with your loom warped and ready to go.
Please join the Facebook group and RSVP so we know you are coming. Also, the groups has lots of information shared and special events planned.
Please note that the April meeting is during Yarn Quest so parking may be limited.
